The Bolte Bridge is one of Melbournes superstructure bridges. Constructed over 3 years (1996 to 1999) and more than $75 million later, the Bolte Bridge supports 6 lanes of automobile traffic separated by a 1.15m clear gap, stands tall of a total of 140 metres, and has an overall bridge length of 490 metres.
It spans the Yarra River and Victoria Harbour in the Docklands in the south eastern suburbs. Designed by architect Denton Corker Marshal and named after Victoria’s past premier Sir Henry Bolte, the Bolte is a sturdy piece of architecture.
After maintenance calls, Ace Tower Hire were the first on sight, with one of Melbourne’s tallest Barin 60M Aerial Work Platform travel tower, it made the job a lot easier to reach the heights of the bridge that needed attention. Without any struggle, maintenance ran smoothly and much more efficiently as the trained and experienced workers never fail.
The Bolte Bridge continues to be one of the safest and most memorable bridges in Victoria.
